A friend posted on Facebook about how while under his parent's supervision, his 3 y.o. decided to leave the house on his own to head to the park that's 1 mile away (crossing a major street- Millbrae ave). lmao!! awwww *hugs* I don't think the bubble wrap is necessary, but I do approve of tethering!!! I remember the first time I saw a child in a harness on a leash... first thought: BRILLIANT!!!

Wow this is the scariest thing I have heard in awhile! I would have freaked the hell out and called the police!!!!! I can't even imagine the feeling to not know where your (grand)child is. Scary!!!!!!!

I know right?! it had totally freaked me out. Apparently, my friend was quite adventurous when he was a kid as well. so his son took after him. Jon told me that he tried running away when he was a kid... so it does worry me that my kid may one day attempt something like this.

Apparently the kid goes to the park with his yeh-yeh everyday (hence why he knew the route and how to cross the main street). But I'm just shocked that no one noticed a 3 y.o. walking along by himself and do something about it!
