It really pisses me off how people that use the job centre as made to feel like shit. There is not one person I know that has signed on and left feeling even remotely positive.
I understand it must be frustrating seeing people who abuse the system everyday but it completely is ridiculous to tar everyone with the same bush. People like yourself who have paid into the system all your life have earned the right to use the services, without having people look down their nose at you for doing so. At the very least they should screen their own adverts a bit better!
Maybe those people who are so lacking in compassion should try being on the other end and see how it feels.
Good luck with the job hunting, I really hope you find something soon. It's a tough market out there right now. I been have knocked back for everything I've applied for in the past year and not even got a sniff of an interview. It's ridiculous. Chin up, all you can do is keep plodding on.
I know. I have always worked in customer services and was always told to treat anyone the way I would expect to be treated themselves, which is a rule I try to live by in general. And when I meet people who don't live this way, I get so infuriated with them.
I am still trying to apply for everything, fingers crossed something comes up soon. I hate being broke. :(
