today is going to be beautiful. at least its starting out that way, in the 50's already and the sun is shining. the neighbor is going to detail my car, someone spilled soda on the carpet and the smell from the mildew is awful. but for a very small fee, hes going to clean the whole inside. i hate doing the car more than anything ( Read more... )

You can adopt those cats... jubal51394 March 19 2009, 13:18:27 UTC
They can comfortably live outside and never bother you and yours. Get some nice fishy, canned cat food and when they come around take a dishful out to them. Just make sure that they see you leave it and call to them with some kind of "Here Kitty!" so they will learn to recognize you. Never leave any food outside unless you can see that they see you. An upside down big box with a door cut in it and a blanket inside would be good too. Just in case it gets wicked cold, or it snows there.

Why would you do this? Well for one thing you will never have any mice or snakes or the like around your house?

Outside cats are really no trouble... They will likely die sometime, but not soon. If they get hit by a car or something you'll probably never even know about it. They'll just disappear and you'll wonder for a while.

Think of it this way... you wll have made their lives much better if they just don't have to go through trash to find food.

Oh! And! Don't feed them too well. If they're not a little hungry they will stop hunting critters. One lilttle can split between them a day will keep them from starving but keep them hunting.

Another thing... pick up the dishes when they leave them. The last thing you need is more cats.

I hate it when people do that to pets ~ what kind of people are they anyway?

I used to live on "Ohio Street" when I was growing up ~ I liked that.

Great! :(
Now, kind hearted person you are, you'll take over their maintenance and health care....

I despise people who abandon their pets! Okay, I'm kinda mad now! I understand that they must have been in sore financial straits, but where's the heart?

If you report this to the police, would they be able to help? Do animal officers have a role here?

Whatever happens, *hugs* I know you'll do the your best.

animals in the county we live in are just not treated the right way. i may make a few phone calls and see what happens. it makes my heart hurt when people do that kind of thing.
