so i've been feeling quite down. hopefully, this will change...

i feel like i've had a bad run of luck. funny how that happens.

So I've been away for a while....

working, playing softball & studying for the CPA exam.

work work work.

well I took part one of the CPA exam.  I hope I did ok.  everyone's been pretty supportive, but I'm still really nervous about it.

we'll see - in a few weeks, I'll know if I'm closer to being a 1.0 CPA or if I'm still at 0.0 CPA.

I'm hoping for the former v. the latter.

Got back from London about 10 days ago.  10 days until Key West.

I've been working like a dog since I got back and probably will be until I leave.

where did the saying "working like a dog" come from anyway?  dogs don't work!?!?

had a fabulous time in london. some great stories. maybe when I have time and am un-stressed, there will be more

I'm actually cleaning my room. I hate cleaning my room - but it's long overdue. I honestly don't even know if I'll finish today - I have so many clothes - it's not even funny. And really, I don't like putting my clothes away. I wish I had some more closet organization -- like what I had at home. I liked that ( Read more... )

It's not every place that you'll see a guy dressed up as a Patriot (you know from the 1600s or 1700s) and riding the T going to the Boston Common. Every now & then, I'll see one of the actors on my way into work in the morning...

Maybe holidays are good with family when you don't see them for a while...
I had such a great weekend, there was absolutely zero part of me that wanted to come back to Boston. Zero.
