Title: A Name for Roses
Pairings: Clex
Warnings/Spoilers: A bit darker than normal. Assume season 3 ended... differently.
Author's Notes: I was working on apple drabbles. Sometimes I start from just a phrase. In this case, that phrase was the summary. What happened after is just... *shrug*
Summary: Clark knows better.

I love being blamed :)

I adore how Lex is appalled by the spandex, maybe even moreso than by the attempted murder. (And rightly so.)

Oh lord. If you want me to pick it up and run, I have to yell charley horse today while I try to wrap up my apple drabbles (drapples?) :)

You don't have to run with it. Let it stand as an indication that I do not plan on running with it any farther. Anyone else is free to jump in or not, as they desire.

If there were a way to combine "apples" and "Clex" withOUT making it sound like a sexually-transmitted disease, I would tell you that's what they taste like :-D
