I found out some interesting things at the cardiologist yesterday. First, I apparently have a "leaky valve." This means that one of my valves is not closing completely, and in the words of the doctor, "spurts extra blood." My mother has the exact same problem with her heart. It's never given her any issues *knock on wood*. The only real issue she's had is that she needs more sleep than other people. Her doc said it could be from the leaky valve.

Well, you probably wouldn't hear of it unless you had it. ;) But from what I understand, it's fairly common. No worries. :)
