Oh god, that 'Right to Life' bilboard was freaky - I noticed it too. So insanely close to the border. Not a nice first impression - I think I prefer the booties.

I thought there was a CWA in Canberra, too.

Or maybe that was an unfair assumption based on my own prejudices. ;)

Look, I support the fact that they campaign against AIDS, the slave trade and problem gambling (which I only just became aware of, thanks). The version of feminism they practice is only relevant if you're hetrosexual, anglo-saxon and right wing.
Like a fusion of the scariest elements of Andrea Dworkin and the Lyons Forum.

They're about as relevant to modern feminism as Family First are.
Political aims that were appropriate a century ago are an anachronism now.
And the fact that one person's commonplace is another person's anachronism was more my point.
