Pleasant Dreams (1981)

So, I picked up a third job. I know, insane, especially with rent and bills completely under control. I didn’t put any effort into getting it, it was offered to me while I was walking home from the Exchange a few weeks ago. The hours are flexible, the pay is good, it's indoors, has no heavy lifting, and it's something completely different from ( Read more... )

Oh! What job did you get?? I've been thinking of getting a second job because it's always nice to have some extra money and it'd be nice to be able to save up and maybe go to school to be a nurse in a few years.

Oooh, new music!

Its nothing exciting, just a few hours a week. All I really do is stand around and look pretty.

If you like it, I can pass you some more of their work.

I would like that very much thank you!

Yeah, I suppose it is.

This, is the 'Constant Lover' EP. I'm a firm believer in listening to music as it grows so I figured I would start you off with thier beginnings. Let me know what you think.

Well, s'long as you like the thing--extra cash for albums, eh?

I may not like much (read; nearly any) English music, but Canadian's another horse. Is this what I'm gonna hear in the hall all this month?

That's the perk.

Little brother, the only time I've been spending at home lately has been asleep so I haven't been playing anything. You may be forced to sample a track or two through the walls, but I don't play anything consistently for a month so don't worry too much.

Bah, it all sounds more or less the same to me save a few things I've picked up on. I've been finding a lot of my old music though, it's pretty wicked.

So who're you standin' around lookin' pretty for?

I'm happy for you little brother, unfortunately, I feel much the same way towards your music as you do towards mine. I have no idea how you can tell any of the bands apart, let alone individual tracks.

No one in particular, its a pretty faceless organisation.

Insanity runs in the family, sis. You just find better outlets for it than us. Most of the time.

And the music is sorely missed when you're out, but I didn't say that. ♥

You make me out to be the sane one, baby brother. This worries me as to what mischief you two get into when I have my back turned.

Awww ♥ I'll try to make an effort to be around a bit more then, but its not intentional.

Sane until proven crazy, Temari. No one has yet to find proof. And I should probably get back to you on that one...

It's understandable with you schedule. I'm more than capable of managing.♥

No one has cared enough to look for it yet, but everyone knows baby brother. Oh, you should? Gaara, you tempt my curiosity. Not exactly a mark for the 'sane' category.

I know you are kiddo, but that's just giving me an excuse and you know how I hate those. Besides, I've been missing you guys.

No one ever offers me jobs on the street.

Occasionally candy.

You hear about people being discovered that way, though, when they end up famous it turns out they were first noticed just walking down the street.

Candy, eh? I...wouldn't trust it, if I were you.

Don't feel too bad about it, it was the first time it had ever happened to me. And its not something that's going to turn me into some kind of superstar, its just a paycheck.
