So this wintertime I had a month and a handful of days off, which was fantastic. We had a family trip to Sun Moon Lake, and while we were there, of course I was taking pictures. I was talking to my sister about how we never look at the pictures we take anyway, so why was I still taking pictures all the time? Then I thought of how the only time I ( Read more... )

'if you seek amy" is my favorite track off that album ! i love it.

wow, sun moon lake looks gorgeous ! i wish i could go someplace like that. i like the idea of making a slideshow of family photos. in my closet, there is a shoebox full of film rolls that we never developed. we are slowly developing them and the last roll was from around 1999 !

aww, my mom used to make things for me & the siblings all the time. she used to make us blankets, clothes, bags, etc. we still have the blankets ! they have lasted forever. oh, that journal & doggy (ornament?) with the coasters your mom made you is super cute ! i have lots fabric scraps and i'd like to make something with them. this post is giving me ideas.

i can't wait for your food post ! i usually bake at night & the lighting is horrible so i have no proof that i can actually use a mixer. ;)

I just got the album because I heard Circus and really liked it - I had passed on the album when I heard Womanizer, which I didn't really like, but I've been listening to the rest of it and the songs are all really good! And If You Seek Amy is fantastic :P Someone else had to point out to me that it's F-U-C-K Me though, I didn't figure it out myself XD

Sun Moon Lake was really picturesque! But otherwise, a pretty quiet town :P DUDE! 1999 is far back! And since it's 2009 this year, a decade of the family slide show would be awesome :D

I really want a mom-made blanket too! That's super handy and definitely something to keep around. My mom's arts-n-craft thing is semi-recent though; she just started I think 2-3 yrs ago. Okay, maybe not that recent haha.

I'd love to see whatever crafts you make! I don't do much myself; the execution always falls short of the vision :P
