Suppose the weekend isn't over. Suppose, if I am very good tomorrow, I may finish on time for a late movie at ( Read more... )

I'll be curious to see what you think of Brideshead Revisited, if you do end up going. I've heard such wildly divergent reviews of it!

Have you read the book version of Brideshead Revisited? I have! I thought Charles was an utter cock in the last section and everyone would have been better off without him! ...Unfortunately, he is the main character. =_= Why does this always happen.

Not sure how well it'll translate into film visual as most of the important stuff in the book is more or less internalised, but do report back. ^^

I haven't! The trailer made it look like they were going for a Cruel Intentions/Marie Antoinette/Sex-and-drugs-and-the-super-rich angle; I'll let you know how it turns out.

Okay, that's it. I officially lose at fandom.
I haven't watched the Avatar finale although hopefully that will be remedied this week and now a new Temeraire novel is out before I've gotten around to reading Empire of Ivory?!?
That's sad. That is just plain sad.

The Avatar final was awesome! I've been keeping my comments to myself since everyone else has already discussed it to death, but it was good. (Which was relief, with about half of the episodes in Season 3 kind of...mechanical. But the final wasn't. Yay!)

You have no excuse for the Temeraire -- the publication of Victory of Eagles was delayed due to missed author deadlines. An extra month, and you still haven't finished Empire of Ivory? Tut, tut.
