15. They were afraid something would happen to the pendant! b/c obviously keeping it as close as possible would be effective against death eaters who are trying to kill them

They could have put it in Hermione's bag! I mean, I could understand if they did this in the beginning, but after a few days -- especially after Ron left and it was just Harry and Hermione -- you'd think it would have occurred to at least one of them that dwelling in a state of magically-induced depression and anger might affect their decision-making abilities.

Actually, I seem to recall, many many years ago, JK saying that Snape was based on a chemistry teacher she hated. Poor man.

I think there are a lot of scenes in this book that'll make awesome scenes in the movie. Provided the director and production staff know what they're doing, of course.

The scene I really wonder about is the one where Negini...emerges. That was horrifying. Unless it's offscreen, the director will have to change that to be something tamer, like the woman collapses and the snake slithers out of a deflated set of robes, because I don't think you can put a scene like that in a PG13-rated movie.

I loved the Nagini, Bathilda, Harry & Hermione scene. I know they're going to have to change it somehow, to lessen how disgusting it actually is, but visually, I think the bouncing curses and Harry dragging Hermione over the bed, shattered glass & desk to jump out the window and apparate NARROWLY ESCAPING VOLDEMORT'S CLUTCHES will make for a very rocking scene.

I also think the seven Harrys at the beginning and broomstick chase will make for a rocking opening too.

A friend was complaining about the scene in the room of requirements and how Crabbe (who she said talks like he's not just slow, but mentally retarded) suddenly knows this awesome, never-mentioned-til-now spell which just happens to destroy Horcruxes. Well, yeah, I said, but think about how awesome that scene is going to look in the movie.

You've talked to me about all these points already. So I won't say a word.

...you guys have a washing machine and dryer right? Can I use it?

I know, I've been talking everyone's head off for days ^^;.

Yes~. Do you want a ride? Your house is within walking distance, but it's a little far to be lugging laundry down the street.

Yes, I'll appreciate it. I want to wash my bedding before I pack it away. It won't be too bad. Can we do it tomorrow around 2:30?

The bank got my new address wrong...again.

I'm torn between that chapter and one of the wedding-preparation chapters in the beginning, but yeah, totally a highlight.

Lily et al are such flower children. XD; The long hair, the early marriage, "what are we doing in school when what's really important is happening out there," etc. I guess in the wizarding world, the late 70s were like our late 60s.
