I think what was disturbing was that I hadn't even been thinking about Islam. I was thinking of a funeral shroud. And when did they call burkhas shrouds? Oh well.
My least favoritest of the books, most favoritest of the films.
Yes! Even before I saw the movie, it was the one I was most looking forward to, because I wanted to see how much the screenwriter and director could improve angsty Harry.
I edited the entry to give the next person more of a fighting chance. XD;;
Harry's adolescent wangst is so much more compelling when Dan Radcliff is enacting it while wearing a tight shirt.
Yes!!! Harry is so ripped.
...He's also very short. XD I loved his scene with Dudley in the beginning, specifically I loved that Dudley towered over him. And the ghetto-fabulous threads! *dies* I actually thought this scene (and the scene at the end, with Dumbledore) could have been longer -- it's nice to see a fantasy movie clock in at 2 hours 10 minutes, but an extra ten or so would not have gone awry.
Dumbledore was so awesome in this movie. In the first and third movies he was all I AM OLD AND WISE AND DIGNIFIED AND MYSTERIOUS but in this one he was actually kind of, you know, gently sarcastic. ^^; Like he was in the books. Three cheers for whatshisname, the new actor.
I just got an IM saying that one of the guys there has it. That's why you called me mysteriously last night. Anyways, he's going to give it to me on Tuesday at 6:30 at Borders, and you should probably come along.
Also...I know that you thought I was half joking, but could you, could you teach me the last bits of things on parallel parking and backing up? I'll pay for gas. I'm desperate at this point. Also, I'll probably need a ride to go several places (such as the airport) because I don't think Vince is going to help me anymore.
He's gone. And while it's possible that he may come back, I can't afford to depend on him any longer. You're trustworthy. I promise I won't total your car. I promise I'll be very careful with it. Please.
Oh man, what happened with Vince? No wait, don't answer that, you can tell me in person.
Of course I'll help you out with the car. If we're going to Borders at 6:30 on Tuesday to pick up my phone, do you want to meet up before then? How does 3:00pm sound?
Arrggghhh, my parents call on Sundays. Guess I'll try calling them again, maybe this time I'll get through.
It's not that he left the country. He's just...madly in love. And that does funny things to some people, I suppose. His fiancee isn't helping matters. :\
Rofl. That really scared me for a few minutes, before I remembered that I read in a magazine that there were no leaks and that a guy had gone to jail for trying to read it. @__@ IT STILL SCARED ME, THOUGH.
Ahahaha. I think I really botched this one, after all the first rule of any joke is that it should be funny. I think I need more outrageous spoilers. (This just in: Dubdledore actually a space alien from the planet Worf!)
