meet the brain

For some reason, I still get comments like 'oh, you're actually good with the monsters' at work. This never ceases to amaze me. Am I wearing some kind of an invisibility cloak of greatness or what? It actually takes weeks and weeks for people to realize this ( Read more... )

my brain is all *sorry, no connection* when I see that young guy in pictures next to TARDIS.

According to the BBC this morning he was 'terrific' - but they would say that, wouldn't they?

Also according to the BBC, 1963-2010 = "almost forty years". Buzzz, no, wrong answer, try again.

I'm shaking my head and muttering in senile discontent ...

Oh, and please note I'm logged in with the wrong ID again ...

Hmmm... Maybe BBC is better with reviews than it is with maths?

*grin*

I remember when I had two different LJs for different kinds of fics. It was ghastly! I always forgot who I was, and people were confused. :)

Hah, yesterday I read some comic slash as well (DCU) and found this fairly long, recced Kon/Tim fic that I'm gonna read after i've finished rispa's series. Also, now I have a bizzare urge to watch Smallville, even though I know I'd hate it.

I was kinda dissapointed in SPN. I don't know what I expected, exactly, but I'm pretty sure this wasn't it. Or maybe I just wanted more Cas. :D

Well, the good news is regarding Dr Who that all the reviews I've seen have been pretty positive. I guess you (and I mean you in a general sense) have to see it to.. feel it. You know?

Comic slash can be surprisingly good. :) I'm still reading Tony Stark/Steve Rogers fic, and it's all yay. Well, mostly yay. :D

Will have to get all the eps and then watch. Must watch more who! Must!

*scared*

Your colleagues are morons, apparently.

I mean, sure, sometimes we judge people wrong but who the hell is stupid enough to tell the person they've judged wrong that? It's such a double burn, you show yourself to be bad judge of character and that you have no manners.

I hope you said something scathing to whoever it was who commented.

Meh. This one was kinda earnest and new, so I didn't take it as an insult. I just told her that yes, I'm very good and wise and she should worship me. :)
