meet the brain

Apr 04, 2010 01:08

For some reason, I still get comments like 'oh, you're actually good with the monsters' at work. This never ceases to amaze me. Am I wearing some kind of an invisibility cloak of greatness or what? It actually takes weeks and weeks for people to realize this?

Weird.

Have been reading lots and lots and lots of comics slash lately, and it's great to just flip the brain off and read instead of writing. The canon is complex enough for me not to have any bunnies of my own (since me and complex comic canons don't really mix), so yay. This is what they mean by 'mindless entertainment'. Excellent.

About my shows... Lots of hiatus going on, SPN was decent, Mentalist made me feel blah. AI makes me annoyed/angry/bored/anxious/want to hug Ryan and write more porn about him. SGU is back.

Oh. Whoa. My brain is all unable to deal with the fact that they're showing Doctor Who again. This is kind of hilarious, because it's not that kinda fandom, and I know it's not and I know change is all what it's about, and yet my brain is all *sorry, no connection* when I see that young guy in pictures next to TARDIS.

*points at self and laughs*

work, telly, fandom
