Well, it seems that once again, the town or another one of our esteemed neighbors has chosen to make things interesting, eh? My, I wonder how many here have experience fighting the living dead? For starters, the idea of going for the brain or the head is true! Fire, as well, could be quite useful ( Read more... )

I would be very interested!

...I now see what you mean about the town's idea of fun. Only been here a few days and already a bloodbath!

Good, good! I'll come to pick you up then.

Indeed! And this isn't even one of the more interesting ones I've seen! I'd almost think the people running the town were akin to us, if it were not for the softest I've seen in some of their....old leadership.

I'll be waiting!

This is more boring one, then? Hmmm, now I'm eager for the next already!

Oh? They've changed the guard, then?

Indeed they have. It would appear two of the previous "leaders" were found wanting, and have been replaced!

We've yet to see how well their replacements function.

[The Major catches Susan during the early moments of her outdoor excursions. That is to say, she's not quite annoyed enough yet to have simply decided to go about 'invisibly'.]

I'm rather fond of the undead, honestly, but you really needn't have gone to such lengths to avoid Grandfather. He doesn't bite.

[Zing goes the sword and the half of a zombie's head containing its brain slides off.]

Unlike you.

[And so Susan calmly walks down the street, decapitating and destroying the brains with the precision of a surgeon.]

[A light chuckle as he watches you from his car, Susan. Look. It's your favorite admirer.]

Tsk tsk tsk. For one with such an understanding of death, I would think you'd pity these creatures and the state their in.

How nice, that you do not.

[Susan doesn't look even remotely surprised that she'd been observed.]

Interesting, that the conclusion you come to involves my simply being callous, and not perhaps, that you simply have a completely inadequate understanding of Death.

I don't care a whit about drones, regardless. They're not dead or undead; they're not even an 'are'.

[His smile just grows a bit.]

Oh do tell! If they "who" that used to be present within the shell is no longer there....then where is it?

Ah, Officer Major. I would gladly take you up on your offer. As it so happens, I am in need of a police escort...

To the Post Office.

Then you have contacted the right man, my friend!

What might your address be, Doctor.

754 Partridge Dr. But you are a busy man, so take your time. My daughter is "playing" with a few of the zombies outside which is keeping me very entertained for now.

Yes, er, hello.

Major! You're offering escorts, I hear! That is great because you know? I could really use one to the hospital right now. [There's a split-second pause.] I am fine! It is just that there is research to be done, there. And I am not there! I am here.

Of course! Worry not, my friend. We're hardly in a rush.

[And it isn't long before the Major's patrol car is outside Doof's house, siren blaring.]
