As for If you don't like it, I'd suggest not using MySpace, what would have happened if say, Rosa parks simply stopped riding the bus because she didn't want to have to sit in the back? Or if women just stopped giving birth in hospitals because they weren't allowed to bring their spouses into the labor room with them? Policies change and history is made when people make a stand, no matter how trivial it may seem at the time.

Oh, Jesus Christ.

myspace isn't neccesary to get to work, and its not a public service that everyone pays taxes into. and...women DID stop giving birth in hospitals for that reason, and others, and the hospitals changed. boycotting is a way to affect social change...doesn't she realize that?

But boycotting is hard. Like math and shutting up.

It's not owned by the government, it's owned by Rupert Murdoch, the same guy who owns tabloids and Fox News (same thing).

Well, frankly, I imagine that any one of a number of other citizens would have done what she did and would have been arrested -- prompting a bus boycott that had been building for quite some time anyway *koffkoffClaudette Colvinkoff*.

Thank you! Finally someone remembers that people had been doing bus boycotts for over a year at least before Rosa Parks. She was the most "white-friendly" example though...
