But first, Useless Fact Time: After looking at lyric translations for both, I've realized that Rammstein's "Dalai Lama" actually tells the exact same story as Sarah Brightman's "Figlio Perduto". Apparently, mashups between Rammstein and t.A.t.U are practically a subgenre in and of themselves, given the sheer number of YouTube vids devoted to such concoctions (of varying quality; the "Mein Herz Brennt"/"Pokazhi mne lubov" mashup in this vid's my favorite of the lot).

I really don't know what to do with this revelation.
