As far as I can tell with my rusty, limited German, "Donaukinder" is about the Donau River and the loss of its aquatic life through pollution. Hence, "Wo sind die Kinder?"(the children of the river). It's quite beautiful, if a little odd to hear Till crooning about missing fish. Between this and "Haifisch", I say Till was thinking green, bless him.

Wow, I never would have guessed that. That's two more songs about fish then I think any other Rammstein album has.
