It is with a heavy heart that I am saying goodbye to this place.

My journal won't be deleted. It holds too many memories. Back in March I said I didn't want it to end the way we thought it would end, that I wanted to end this on my own terms. That day has come. Maybe one day I will return to LJ.

I am so sorry that I missed this post when you wrote it and I hope you find this comment. It was the day before my husband's surgery and I wasn't paying attention and obviously missed some entries.

I just want to tell you that I'll miss you, and I admit that I'm sad that you're leaving. But -- we all need to do what's best for each of us. I'll think of you often -- wondering how you're doing -- hoping for and imagining good things in your life.
