Nielsen marketing has basically come out and said that they disadvantage Studio 60 under their current set up for Ratings!

Wooo Hooo!

A great piece of news! One that might push the networks to develop new means to promote products without relying on commericals that can get bypassed (but will not get in the way of the substance of the show).

yeah, sometimes I have to work or study on Monday Nights. I'll watch it on NBC Rewind, aka for free w/ads on the website. Even if I do see it live, I catch it on the Rewind at least once. I do not want to miss anything, because it is smart and so good!

Awesome! I think people, this tv season more than ever, are watching tv vastly different than they have before, what with DVRs and episodes being available online. I'm glad Nielson is realizing this. Here's hoping it really does pay off for Studio 60!

Probably just DVRs as they are hooked up to phone lines and send and question data.

What I'm afraid of is the time that it'll take to implement this new system. They're still going by the "old" Nielsen system no matter what at the moment and it might be too late if and when this is put into wide use?

I hope not. I'm trying to be positive here and failing miserably, lol.
