YEEEEE HAAAAAARRRRR!!!!!!!!

(not to put too fine a point on it!)

Nielsen marketing has basically come out and said that they disadvantage Studio 60 under their current set up for Ratings!

Wooo Hooo!

At least someone is acknowledging that the ratings are flawed. Whether it has any bearing on S60's future is another matter. If it gets NBC an excuse to run a full season, I'll be happy. But unless Aaron gets his finger out a bit and beefs up the storylines, I'm not sure there will be another season. I am loving the show, but it's lacking something.

I've been asking the DVR question for awhile now. If they aren't counting DVR ratings they are idiots. I work nights right now so I don't watch anything when it airs. It's so stupid they aren't keeping up with the technology of their industry.

The demographic that S60 seems to attract is the very sort to have and use DVRs. If you're not the sort of person to watch TV every night, it makes sense to record the shows you like and to watch them at your leisure.

That's something with which advertisers are going to have to catch up. But perhaps, when the plots thicken, more and more people will tune in live rather than wait? Let's hope so!
