Given everything that's happened so far, I'm not surprised that they didn't pass council approval.

Thanks. :-) They were so confident that I am a little surprised. But I haven't forgotten that my apartment didn't pass that sound-proof-level test they performed.

Oh yes, of course! I just will not receive the three-months' rent as moving expenses that would have been the lawful reward of still being here when the conversion began.
