I don't think gang member is a job. And as far as fry cooks, chefs, construction workers, etc. - if they work for anything corporate or even legit, they have to be citizens and prove it. Now valets, I don't know. But I often wonder.

Also, the world is getting smaller. I don't think there's much use in looking at is as "us" and "them." We're all people, trying to make good and feed our kids, or in my case, save enough money to have kids.

Let me also add, from personal experience, Latinos are harder workers (99% of the time). They are coming in, working their butts off, sending their kids to school and starting businesses like there's no tomorrow. Could part of your (and a lot of other people's) problem with them be that they are living the American dream better than most of the people we know? Don't get defensive, just think about it for a sec.

You know I love you!

Jake's employs illegals :( As does Bank of America, most construction firms here, and even Del Taco.

I'd rather not post it online, ask Rachel, As to the smaller world bit, and us trying to feed our kids, free money for illegals to go to elementary school, middle school, high school AND college in California comes out of your wallet. Free healthcare does to. So when that family can barely afford the shack in Compton or that studio apartment in the valley, that money that would otherwise be available isn't there The jobs are being taken by illegals, and the social programs are spread so thin due to the burden. There is an estimated 2 million illegals in the greater Los Angeles area. That's a lot of Home Depot's worth of day laborers ( ... )
