this week i have baked three loaves of banana bread. one pan of enchiladas. and one loaf of cornbread, which came from a box and was bad enough that i've decided to make a batch from scratch

LOL! Is the chicken still alive? That's a pretty funny story, though I probably would've been upset if I were your mom.

I guess the chicken is a little bit better than the goat, but I still feel sorry for it.

no. she finally killed it a couple of days later. on the front porch during the early morning hours. she said the knife she used was a tad too dull, so she had to keep sawing away at its neck.
