It is a small, cramped vehicle made by humans. It smells funny, it makes too much noise, and there's not enough space--okay, the three are also true of Christine's vessel, she doesn't sling cybernetic fear monkeys.

She's also making soft, curious clicking noises, unable to open the conversation by clearing herself of charges because she's unsure of what a cow is; the translator didn't help much, and she suspects there's ooman slang she's missing.

Spoon spends the majority of the trip silent, his bag of armor on his lap. In deference to the human driver who got them to Yorkshire, he didn't clean the skull on the way home. He did that in the back field while mum gets ready to drive to London.

He's mostly forgotten about the bloody cow.

"Ta, mum. Need this."

In the interests of saving everyone quite a lot of gasoline, EPOC picked up Mr. Greene shortly after Andrew and Divis Mal left. He's been brought to EPOC headquarters in Northumberland for his further briefing, so that's where Annie's got to drive.

(Please excuse the narrator,w ho had no clue of just how long the drive to London would take.)

"Y'welcome, Spoon," Annie says. "I'll be waiting for you two outside, if that's all right."

Christine is cloaked already, and offers several staccato clicks along the lines of that will be fine.

It's a good thing it's a rugged van for carrying around workloads, because the suspension just experienced a sudden shift in load.
