I've been annoyed with myself for not posting in almost a week now. Just I honestly haven't been feeling well. So I'm done beating myself up about it. Trying to move forward ( Read more... )

I had tried bifocals when I was much younger and didn't adjust well to them, but really I only needed them for reading, computer. I figured now that I'm much older that perhaps it was time again to try them. I got the ones without the line, so maybe I need to get they glasses remade with the line on them.

You never know you may be able to adjust to Bifocal lenses.

Sorry the glasses didn't work out for your husband. Bifocal lense without the line did work for my husband.

Sadly I'm not a candidate to ever have lasik, I have high pressure reading in my eyes. I don't have Glaucoma, but have to be checked three times a year, and every year from now on.

I can't believe the barium stays in you so long! I had no idea.

It mainly depends how quickly your body can eliminate the barium. I can't see how they expect it to be gone within 48 hours of drinking the stuff. No worry as I'm sure I will be able to do the CT Scan tomorrow morning...or keep your fingers crossed for me, lol

If it helps, I was told to point my nose at what I wanted to see, for wearing bifocals.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm going to try that. I'm really trying to make a lot of effort to try and get used to these bifocals...just a lot harder than I thought it would be.

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. I'm glad you're feeling a little better now, and hope all goes well with your CT scan tomorrow. Hopefully it'll give you some answers soon, that lead to worthwhile solutions to get you feeling completely well.

Finally they were able to do the CT Scan. I'm so relieved. Now it's just waiting for the results. I don't think it's anything life threatening. At least if they have found something, it may just be some adjustments to my lifestyle, and I'm good with that.

Ugh, I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been feeling sick. And your glasses situation... that’s so frustrating. I used to have terrible eyesight (got lasik a few years ago... amazing) and would have so many issues with getting my prescription right!! I hope you’re able to get it corrected soon!
