I've been annoyed with myself for not posting in almost a week now. Just I honestly haven't been feeling well. So I'm done beating myself up about it. Trying to move forward.
Stomach and other issues still hanging on. Mind you in some good news the past couple of days my stomach and digestive system to be much much better. I've still got a long way to go, and here's hoping the CT Scan tomorrow will reveal what is going on. I went last week for the test, but was unable to have it due to too much barium in my syster from the Upper G.I. test I've had a week ago Tuesday. I've been in to see my family doctor and well we came up with a plan of attack to get that barium out of my system. So far so good.
In other great news, the reaction I've been having to something in my system causing a burning sensation in the back of my head, neck, shoulders, and arms, finally gone. That's been going on for a few months now. I'd taken Benadryl and it would aleviate it for a day or so and then it would come back. Anyway, my GP gave me a sample of Claritin to try, I took one tablet, and boom....burning was gone the next day, and yesterday and finally today. So that is a good thing.
Yesterday, I went to pick up my new glasses (yes more health stuff). Every time I get glasses made there's an issue, they tend to make everything so large and very close up, which causes headaches. Anyway, I had told my optometrist that I wanted to try bifocals without the line as I'm fed up with having to keep switching glasses. I wear mild distance prescription mainly for driving, and reading glasses for computer, reading, cell phone etc. I've worn reading glasses for over 30 yrs. I've only really been wearing distance glasses for about 6 years, on and off. It was the optometrist I have now that was able to get the right range and distance for the driving glasses. But now things are crazy again. I am already having issues with the bifocals. I'm getting headaches, and I can't see what I need to see with them on. So I'm already feeling upset and bothered by it all. I really don't want to give up as I've only had them a day. But something about them isn't right. I'll keep trying but in the meantime and contact the optometrist in a week or so. They have assured me that if we need to make the glasses with the line on them that can be done. Really, that place has been good to me. I just started going there a year ago. Before that I tried 4 other places and no luck at all.
