And the final chapter of "Blood"/"Funeral" - I'm may revisit this 'verse at some other point. Vague whiff of a crack pairing. And I think it's safe to say that this is firmly within the realm of AU - given my complete warping of canon (such as giving Orochimaru a certain clan's last name and giving Fugaku of all people the most interesting of people as parents).
Tsunade glared at the little stick, daring it to continue it's mocking of her - she wanted her answer, and she wanted it now. Why were these things have to be so blasted slow? In this day and age, these little tests should go quicker then this, but no~o. It had to be slower then molasses in winter. She sighed and settled down to work on those reports while she waited for the results.
Hashirama glanced at his granddaughter and then at the stick, his eyebrow arching ever so slightly. "New testing equipment for poisons?" he asked, hoping that was what it was. If looks could kill then he'd be a smear on the floor. Right, he thought, trying to come up with several different options and all ending with the same result - none of which was pretty. He massaged the growing ache by his left temple.
Tobirama glanced at the stick and then at Tsunade. "Is it supposed to have that plus?" he asked.
Tsunade's pen left a huge ink stain as she pressed far too hard when she heard her granduncle's question. So, that was why she had been feeling sick for those couple of days. She smiled wanly to herself, wishing Orochimaru was here. "Yes," she said softly. "Yes, it is." She stood slowly and made her way to the memorial rock. She knelt down and touched Orochimaru's name gently. "Congratulations, Papa," she said softly.

Nine months later, she cradled her first and only child, stroking his dark hair gently. There might not have been his father's distinctive eye marks, but there were other markings that screamed that this child was Orochimaru's. "Shh, sleep my little Fugaku," she crooned. "My little Uchiha prince." She glanced up to see her grandfather's one time lover standing there, and she arched a brow.
Madara walked over and gently touched the dark hair. "He'll bring change to this world," he said quietly.
Tsunade merely nodded. "I'll send him to you when he's old enough to train," she said finally.
Madara nodded in return. "He will be the best, and his father will be proud of him," he added, missing his grandson something fierce.
