BTW, Mistress Microvision, and Demi-Goddess of all things Tablet Weaving (Thora is the primary, sorry): Does going all in one direction till the cows come home do weird things to one's ply tightness (or spin for singles) that I should worry about before I finish warping my silk/wool blend birthday present?

Yes, going all in one direction will affect the ply tightness/spin.
I've always wondered how long it takes for cows to come home. I'm pretty sure that it's likely to be at dinnertime. :-P
