Simply Equal
It's times like this that I miss Livejournal. The long-winded holding forth we all used to share, or overshare is appropriate on days like today. I look down the side of my feed and see a long string of equal signs. I'm reminded of Kramer in the "I won't wear an AIDS ribbon!" episode of Seinfeld.

Eyeing assortment of cold meats on the stove and counter.
"Heya-- how long has all this food been out?"
"Oh, not long at all! I just warmed it up an hour ago."
"Cool!"
"...oh, except the steak fingers. I'm sorry! They've been out since last night."
"Ohfff Phhhuck. Phthanksff." -
She can't sleep.
So, my little girl turns out to be as anxiety-prone as the both of her parents. No surprises here; I was Boy Binkley from the age of about 11 through 30, full of the panic and terror that only funky genes, funny neurotransmitters, and too much time on one's mind can provide.
