Well, tonight we had a little soiree and a Secret Santa escapade in our cast. Hayden got me a lovely little Christmas present, and it was indeed entertaining and pleasant enough until Sofia decided to start talking without thinking and therein I found my moment to retreat to my own space

I don't know how you stand how cold it gets up there. It hits zero Celsius and I start complaining - when it gets below about 15 degrees Fahrenheit I don't go outside unless I have to, or unless there's copious amounts of snow to play and sled in. I don't think I'd survive up there in that frozen North you call Canada. But then again, I'm a summer person - give me between 75 and 90 degree (F) weather and I'm great.

Your writing is beautiful in this post - the imagery is wonderful. And I know that "You're crazy" feeling, not for quite the same reasons, but I have that voice in my head, too.

I'm sorry for not posting or commenting for quite a while - school's rather eaten my life, this is the last week of the semester. I'll finally be able to breath again. I have enjoyed being able to read your posts when I could get the chance, though. Thank you.

It's one of those classic "act first, think later" situations... It wasn't too icy so it wasn't that bad, but in retrospect, it wasn't very smart. ;)
