Hi there! I've been going a little crazy with your tutorials lately. :D But this seems to be kicking my butt. Not only can I not figure out how to smooth the skin, but I REALLY don't understand the Curves Layers. Would you mind explaining it to me? I have CS3, but I know it's the same basic concept...I just can't seem to figure it out.

What exactly is giving you problems with the curve layer?

First you click anywhere on upper part of the curve. Then you enter the green number in the field next to Input and the red in the field next to Output. That is for the 200/194 (Step 6).

Click again anywhere on the lower part of the curver an repeat the above step for 68/57 (again step 6).

I followed those instructions to the T and it's just not coming out the same way. Maybe it has to do with the colors in the image? That's the only thing that's making sense to me. :)

Oh, yeah, it's that cause every picture has a different coloring and the curve layer will get you different results. ^^' You can try with a second curve layer or maybe a color balance layer. :)
