He's now known as Bow Wow... no "Lil'" LOL Jannette had fetched them from the lobby to escort them up to our studio for an interview with my co-worker Bridget. Two, the houses you see on CRIBS are often bought with record company advances. They're on *loan*... if he never makes a profit (which is likely in the biz), the house will never be his. That's why you don't see a lot of personal affects in these houses. That goes for all the jewelry these rappers wear too. They're all "props" (and on loan) so that the image is intact. I would say that only rappers like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, etc. actually have made some money so they can afford to buy a few things.
Remember when TLC went bankrupt, even though their album Waterfalls sold millions and won them Grammys?
That's also why these people do lots of other things: start clothing lines, fragrance lines, act in movies, make commercials in Japan ("Entourage" LOL), etc. It's the only way to make any money -- merchandising. Hello, J. Lo? Bow Wow is already branching out into movies...
