dude, I didn't know you loved the Belgariad! I heart David Eddings, although I like the Sparhawk series much better.

I'm gonna guess Silk for the series.

I love those books read them for the first time in college - Iactually had to wait for the 5th book to be published. I've read them multiple times. I love pretty much everything Eddings has written. I was really sad when I'd read he died

Hee, he was one of my favs from that series as well.

I didn't have to start waiting on his books until the Tamuli series, and it seemed to take forever for them to come out. Although, I have to admit, I couldn't get into his Dreamers series. I got bored with it and stopped halfway through the second book.

And I had no idea he had died. :(

It wasn't that long ago - June. He was 77 when he passed. I wish they'd make them into movies. If they can do LOTR, I don't see why they can't. IMHO the Belgariad are much better books
