Peoria! *cheers*

...where is that?

Enjoy the trip! Don't leave your bag unattended at the airport. Report any suspicious activity. Um, I think that's it. Oh! And don't try to make a bomb out of a shoe/walkman/person sitting next to you. I've heard they frown on that kind of thing.

Peoria is in Illinois - suppose I should have mentioned that. I have to fly through Chicago - O'hare, which is always and adventure.

No worries made it through security without the formal strip search - so a good trip so far. ;P

I've been through Peoria several times, since it's on the way to Ohio from here. It smells funny (I think there's a brewery near the highway).

LOL. I don't think I'll be getting the grand tour.

Never been to Peoria before but it does seem to be television shorthand for small midwestern town

Loved BBT and HIMYM last night! BBT is such a cute show, but yeah, I can't imagine any of the Seven speaking in Nerd. What a bizzare crossover that would make... :P

Honestly, a friend told me what happened in the season finale of Heroes, because I wasn't in a hurry to watch it. It made me go O.o, so I've dropped Heroes from my viewing schedule this year. It used to be SO good. Sigh. Although I missed the news Rick Worthy was joining the cast, but I don't know if he's enough to make me come back...

Have a safe trip!

Yep My muse is really pushing the BBT crossover - I have no idea how the nerds would handle any of the characters from any of the other shows I watch.

Yep Heroes just keep resetting and hoping that the viewer doesn't notice. Since it's on against House and HIMYM This is probably my last week watching - if i feel a great need to watch I'll DL it

Peoria! \o/ - take lots of pics! Hee!

Castle! - The Photo Shoot! The Poker Games! and my favorite part: Beckett saving his ass in a sweater dress and high heels! And the apology at the end was beautiful too, I love his relationship with his daughter, he'd be lost without her. *hugs show*

Heroes ?! - I have no idea what's going on. Who are those carnival people? \o/ Rick Worthy! I am worried about Matt. Instead of dealing with his problems (jealousy, insecurity in his marriage) he used his powers instead. Anytime you do something that Sylar approves of, you maybe should rethink that. Hiro and Ando! "Dial A Hero"! I love them. I don't know if I'm going to watch regularly though, I'm really behind.

(I need a tv icon)

Yep exciting Peoria!

Castle was just all kinds of fun. His daughter is so wonderful and their relationship is just so awesome on so many levels. I love Kate and Castle but I do want to see more of cop sidekicks - we hardly got to know them at all last season.

Yep Matt's story line is still the most compelling and has been the one with the fewest 'WTF are they doing to the character now' moments. And what was the deal with Claire's annoying roommate - we spent all that time 'getting to know her' and she kills herself just so Claire could jump out the window and revel her secret. Really Claire? You want to keep you ability a secret but you jump out your window in full view of people

hope your trip is productive and not too tiring!

oh, Big Bang - we just got season 1 here (frankly I'm amazed one of our channels did), and I've happily watched the 1st two episodes, and love it love it love it! though me and a friend wondered whether we should be mildly alarmed that we get *all* of the geeky comments, or not. :-P

as for the shows, damn, the fact that Claire could heal Nathan didn't even enter my mind! but I'm still curious to see what's going to happen with Nathan/Sylar, if nothing else. it's like watching an accident - I'm strangely fascinated by the anticipation of how much more the writers can mess everything up...

It was a very stessful meeting and I'm now back in O'hare on my way home - hate these same day returns - it makes for a very long day.

I love BBT - as an engineer I always geek out when I recognize the math; not to mention allthe comic book and scifi comments - Iam not ashamed to admit that i get them all!

Heroes is one of those shows that I keep hoping will return to it's former glory - Lost did it so I guess i'm reluctant to give up

oh, it was a one-day trip! ouch...! yes, I can imagine that alone would be awful, stress about the meeting aside. hopefully you'll get a chance to rest and relax once you're home!
