After many trials, I arrived in London. I was able to do a little shopping and sight seeing before grabbing the train to Birmingham.

All is well in the end and I guess that's all that matters

My new York flight was cancelled. Now I'm leaving tomorrow and flying through Dallas. So much for a relaxing weekend in London. At least I will be in Birmingham in time for my class. Hopefully I've used up all the bad mojo and all will be smooth for me tomorrow as well as the boys flight next week ( Read more... )

On my way back to Ohio - Airport time again.

Thanks to some very helpful flisters I did discover the web browser version of YM and was able to connect to the world!

Yesterday was also the top 11 Performances of American Idol.

I once again find myself in Birmingham, Alabama. *sighs* why couldn't our sister plant be someplace more exotic like Paris (and I don't mean Texas).

I had to be up at 4am to catch a plane - that sucks big time for a night owl like me.

The joys of business travel. I have been delayed yet again from leaving Birmingham. Just as we were about to board they changed their minds. Once again I am in Alabama on business. Icy weather messed up my flights out of Columbus and it was an all around bad travel day. But how great to get on LJ and see that i had made some of your "Make my Day lists" It was the awesome virtual hug I needed when I finally made it to the hotel.

Well, I have finished that first week of work and I haven't run screaming into the night. I am guessing it will be a good job. There's these two guys at work with the same name(really unusual last name too.) and everybody calls one good Dave and the other evil Dave.
