Sorry, I can just see Joe reading the Watcher's description of Adam meeting Shawn and laughing. (What with modern evesdropping devices, they wouldn't have to get close to hear the conversation.)

And there is a certain part of me that would be just gleeful in seeing Shawn get his mind blown by Lassiter and Methos. Mwah-ha-ha-ha...
