That Darn Spawn Story

I never do understand how my muse works sometimes. I wanted to write a quick story about how Holly (Divas_Lament's spawn) and JD go find Chloe in the great spawn crossover universe. Well that little story has blossomed to almost 10,000 words. I just love the Spawn but this is crazy. I seriously need to find the "epic" off switch. I long to write drabbles

That's how it always starts -- little ficlet. Then they get a hold of some irradiated bunnies and BOOM! It's the epic that ate Glasgow.

Poor Ez, I like him.... Okay maybe the Winchester brothers are cute to look at but I think conversation with Dean would not be as interesting as conversation with Ez.

Well the brothers have been battling Ezra for attention from my muse and they all have guns - It's not been an easy battle LOL

Heh, those Spawn are needy. My own crossover could have been much longer if I hadn't cut them off at the knees. There were more scenes I wanted, more conversations, etc.

And as a result of the early termination, the Spawn want more. Luckily they're behaving when I remind them I have homework. XD

LOL I'm surprised you could get them all to shut up - you did entertain five at once and I know how bad Holly and JD can be just by themselves.

here's hoping the homework is finished quickly so you can revisit the spawn - I can't be the only one they drive crazy

I promised them I'd write more...I just didn't specify when.

I've gotta update Crossing Kansas, but I've found I can't sit with one fic so maybe I can bounce between C.K. and Spawn. Keep the kids happy.

They can be a very pouty bunch - they weren't supposed to show up again until next summer's spawn Tuesday and we can see how well that plan worked.

Thnks for the encouragement - and I like to beta for exactly the same reason. I am feeling pretty good about my prospects for getting this story knocked out - better than I have in the 6 months since i finished the last arc.

That explains it. Future!Meta!Chloe was starting to feel neglected. She just needs to arrange for Ezra to be kidnapped away and shoved into a closet. XD

I'm quite excited to read the adventures of JD, Holly and Chloe.
