The Rooftop of Mrs. Westenra's

Now that's something you don't see every day even in the Nightside so Tiwa circles around Harry, finally settling on a chimney pot to watch him.

(OOC: Slight placeholder while I do some cooking but my bird couldn't resist.)

He glances up to spot the bird and smiles a little -- he hasn't seen one that's looked quite so ... innocent since he's come to the Nightside.

Most of what flew in the skies here wasn't what he'd call 'cute'.

Then he's back to extracting pollen from the first flower to coax into the second one.

She flies over and circles over his head doing some acrobatics and chirps as she tries to figure out what he's doing.

Harry laughs a little.

"You aren't going to sprout fangs and try to devour my arm, are you? I wouldn't be surprised, but I'd appreciate it more if you didn't."

Edward is distracted by the piano in the back room; this is well, for following the smell of dead flesh is probably not the best plan for the young vampire.

The older one however, follows the other man out to the roof access door and through it, clearing his throat to announce his presence.

"Hello."

Harry jumps - for indeed, he is a young man and not really accustomed to people other than his sister being ... well, anywhere.

"Erm, hello. You can't smell things from all the way downstairs, can you?"

Carlisle's face wrinkles before he nods. "I'm not your average guest here however. What is that?"

"I can only assume you mean the more unpleasant smell. It's Titan -- er, the colloquial name is 'Corpse Flower'."

"Oh, good Lord it's a giant plant. It's not man-eating, is it?" Wyn blurts, looking askance at the very large pot. The other one escapes her notice (for now), as does the ivy holding the door open.

Harry ... blinks.

"Er, no. It's pretty harmless other than the smell, actually." Pretty, even.

"Oh. Well, that's reassuring." Wyn continues brightly. And Harry's idea of 'pretty' is much different than hers, but she's not the judging type.

"Everything else here seems to be carnivorous, so of course the giant flower that smells like rotting meat won't eat me." she continues wryly. The Nightside doesn't make sense.

"Exactly." He is aware of the irony of it too.

Well, he thinks that she's pretty ... does that count?
