Now that's something you don't see every day even in the Nightside so Tiwa circles around Harry, finally settling on a chimney pot to watch him.

(OOC: Slight placeholder while I do some cooking but my bird couldn't resist.)

He glances up to spot the bird and smiles a little -- he hasn't seen one that's looked quite so ... innocent since he's come to the Nightside.

Most of what flew in the skies here wasn't what he'd call 'cute'.

Then he's back to extracting pollen from the first flower to coax into the second one.

She flies over and circles over his head doing some acrobatics and chirps as she tries to figure out what he's doing.

Harry laughs a little.

"You aren't going to sprout fangs and try to devour my arm, are you? I wouldn't be surprised, but I'd appreciate it more if you didn't."

Her next chirp is accompanied by a bird look of duh, course not as she settles on his shoulder since she can see better there.

Even though he tenses for a moment, he goes on with pollinating.

Then he looks to be focusing very hard on the tree.

The only problem with being a bird is you can't actually ask questions so Tiwa flies behind him and there's a feathery sound before she peers around him to ask,

"What are you doing?"

This is the part where Harry jumps.

"Erm, well. I'm pollinating plants." Which sounds much dirtier than it is ... mostly.

[pi_wakawaka]

Which just makes Tiwa grin as she comes around, there's a rather large henna tattoo on one of her forearms and she looks at the plants,

"Why are you doing it up here? Also I heard you talking to them."

[herbetterhalf]

"Well, I thought people might protest to me doing it in the boarding house. And -- I can also talk to them without people asking me why."

He shrugs.

[pi_wakawaka]

"Do they listen? I'm not sure why, I mean its not like they're having plant sex."

[herbetterhalf]

"Of course they do. I mean...I like to think they do."

Pause. "Strictly speaking, this is the equivalent of plant sex."

[pi_wakawaka]

"Yup, but they're not going to be embarrassed by someone watching unless you're embarrassed for them."

[herbetterhalf]

"I was more concerned about someone being offended by the lewd display," he admits.

Not that the Nightside wasn't home to much worse than plant sex. MUCH worse.

But Harry? He's a relatively bashful guy.

[pi_wakawaka]

She gives him a rather serious headtilt at that,

"Has anyone ever been offended?"

[herbetterhalf]

"Well, not that I know of. But I do try to stay out of people's way."
