My favourite part may have been seeing the A-Team trailer on a big screen...

So! After risking life and limb to see the thing, you're damn well getting a review of Legion. (No, really... The lovely folks who follow me on Twitter got to read all the shaky-fingered parking lot Tweets after I spun my car out trying to stop at an intersection. I wasn't even driving like a moron either, I swear! I just forgot that the ice-fog ( Read more... )

Dude, I just watched the trailer and it looks hilariously cheesy, is it hilariously cheesy enough to risk if you like that kind of thing?

... I think I may take your advice and wait for the DVD, though.

Also, Dude Who Looks Like Christian Kane is the main character in The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift, which is uh... a surprisingly awesome film? (Okay, I'm totally gay for that series, so I can't be trusted, but it's... very gay, and he's very good in it).

Totally worthwhile as long as you go into it with a sense of humour! :-D

Ooh..! I haven't seen that one, but I'd take your word on that and check it out. He seems like a great little actor... Just didn't have a ton to work with here, alas.

Haha, seriously, even though there's no characters from the other FatF movies (other than a spectacular cameo at the end), it is totally one of the better ones. Way better than the second one anyway. That one just kind of... made no sense. Anywaaaaaay.

I gots to say that your parking lot adventure sounds MUCH better than the movie. Now THAT should be a movie... would give me the horrors for days!

I dunno about Lucas Black... I always think of him as the child from Sling Blade. Or the creepy kid from American Gothic. I can't quite get my head around him being a growderp!

I'm glad to hear that the mace rotates. But would have equally have liked to hear that it spewed fire (or even actual spew)... I like a multitasking method of destruction.

Good about the snark from the kids in the cinema... it does help these endearing yet bad movies. I remember going to see Tuff Turf (a boyfriend who later turned out to be gay - well obviously Tuff Turf should have given it away - not that I'm complaining because I also turned out to be a big homo, but seriously a lasting relationship can't be built on a film as bad as Tuff Turf) and the snark from all around made it bearable. No, bearable isn't the right sentiment... it made me feel less like throwing up.
