Because I forgot to sacrifice a fatted calf to Bill Gates during the last full moon, I confess. *tear of shame* (Looking forward to actually getting to read MC during December though! *g*)

Seeeriously. It'll be a lot less fun reading it at a public computer where I can't flail around like a fangirly freak. As much. *g*

It's a little more time consuming but if it's just software/virus issues you could try Geek Police.

Ooh, thank you for that link! Unfortunately, the one that I had got into the operating system, so the techs are having to take everything off and reload it from scratch, but I bet that'll be useful for the future. My luck with computers is legendarily awful.

It is a really good resource. I had a computer where I couldn't reformat it without buying a new operating system because of the virus and they managed to get it completely clean so I didn't need to reformat and instal a new OS. I had a tech place check it once it was supposed to have been fixed and they didn't find anything wrong with it so now I pretty much use them for computer needs.

If you aren't already I'd really recommend using FireFox for a browser (get the ad blocker plus, no script, and better privacy ad ons for it) because IE is just awful in terms of picking nasty stuff up.

Iiinteresting... I had no idea certain browsers were more susceptible than others, so that's really good to know. Thank you!

Good grief, I could make a tiny effort to spell things right... *g*

The cozy-nest would totally protect me from such nonsense, I tell you! *glomps*

*cling cling* I would bring you breakfast-in-nest and we could just laze around and listen to music and look at my walls of awesome.

I love the sound of this plan, truly. Nobody around here gets the hilarity of using Prison Song as an alarm clock either! I keep having to play it for them and then they just look at me funny! Tsk.
