Back in Edmonton! Much nicer drive than last time, but augh, the weather. I suppose I should just settle in for snow until May at this point, huh?
Hope all the Canadians are having a good Thanksgiving and everyone else is having a decent Monday! ;-)
on the road again

And on that note, if I should happen to get to Medicine Hat this summer for a visit, I'm so talking you in to coming to meet me in person! 'cause you're in Calgary when not in school right? Substantially closer. But we'll see.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!

Hell yes! It's weird... I've known you so long that I always forget I haven't actually met you in person yet. I have absolutely no idea where I'm going to be after I graduate though, alas. Shall migrate to wherever there's a job for me.

The Rockies tend to be quite the road block when neither of us have any solid reason to go one way or the other and no money to do it with. Makes sense, go where the work is, definitely! And I shall, as always, be cheering you on! But if you're still in Calgary whenever I get to Medicine Hat next, we will have to at least attempt to plot something. Just keep in mind I don't drive - medical reasons. ETA: But hey, maybe if mom or Wendy want to go shopping in Calgary we could meet for lunch or something. We'll figure it out if/when it's actually happening.

Now... if it'll just STOP SNOWING, life would be lovely. *g*

Snowing and snowing and icy wind! I was trying to take pictures of the icicles on the building across the way today. They're about as long as my arm!

I just discovered that Ms Atwood's german publisher will give away "Year of the Flood" as a free e-book in a certain timeframe!! I have to check it out. I'm not entirely convinced that's really free... *g* and of course I'll need the "real" book too one day, but hey, free! Timeframe is supposed to start in two days, for 24 hours. We'll see!
