I'd be a raging hypocrite if I minded, I just didn't want to upload it without your permission. ;)

Which leads us smoothly to the fandom cliche that Mikeyway is kind of a dude who just lost his leg in a bookshop, or on a seat, or stuck to a poster.

If you say it aloud in a jokey sort of way - like observational humour, something everyone must have noticed - it becomes even funnier.

NO WE WILL NOT. We have 8000+ words of Issue Fic living on our computer already. *evil eye* The next thing I write is going to be stupid and fluffy and shall require no research whatsoever! Although, can you imagine?

That is so, so true. He calls up Gee and Gee knows what Mokey's about to say, because he's got that tone again, somehow packing a whole limbful of regret into a simple hello. And Gee would be like, it's here, Ray found it when he went to pick up the pile of posters we're supposed to sign. And it's sticky, how did it get sticky? Wait, I don't want to know. MEanwhile, Mikey's babbling away in the language know as brotherly worship and Gee just says, you gotta take better care of your leg, Mikey, or I'll tell Bob he's allowed to play his drums with it. So Mikey hops back to the studio and tweets to tell his followers that the leg-hunt is called off because he's got it back now.
