So, catching up on some film reviews, then, plus a little bonus "wot I did for NYE", since that's when I watched both of the two I'm about to write up.

And thinking about Martin which is a wonderfully unsettling and creepy film - I really enjoyed it's then contemporary setting as opposed to a film trying to recreate a time past or a time in the future, I love watching 'contemporary' films just as a piece of social history and seeing the decor and gagdet designs :-)

I got the Universal Invisible Man this weekend with the delightful Claude Rains in the title role, will be in touch re setting up a time to watch it if you fancy it :-)

Absolutely - as long as we understand 'contemporary' not to mean the boring old actual present, of course!

And yes, I'm deffo up for the original Invisible Man some time. :-)
