I saw this round at ms_siobhan and planet_andy's house a couple of weeks ago. As ms_siobhan explained before we began, it is one of those ghost films where you never actually see anything supernatural, but the atmosphere is nonetheless creepy as hell. I LOVE this film - there is something so unnerving about the bulging door and the banging that is never explained and I adore Theo's sassiness and her self confidence. I have a little more sympathy for Eleanor though - given her upbringing and the way her sister treats her I don't think it's surprising that she is so wimpy.

I also love the fact it made you jump :-)
