Global warming, that's the thing. We've been having unusually warm summers here too lately, last summer was the warmest ever (since the beginning of the records) and gosh, it was of course that week when I had to travel 50 km every day to attent some thing in a small room with no air conditioner when the records broke. But still, we kinda have the mentality that we *cannot* whine about the weather when it's so hot because it's so rare. During the winter the mercury will drop just as much under zero as it is above it during about one or two weeks in the summer so... o.O On the other hand, whining about the weather is our favourite small talk topic, no matter what...

But remember, global warming isn't happening. *eyeroll* Where I live, we also have extreme cold....-40 degrees, -50 when you factor in windchill.

Your weather is so extreme. I shouldn't complain so much.

Oh, I forgot, global warming is just that conspiracy to stop the big bad USA from using all the oil in unnecessarily big cars and polluting the air with CO2... Stupid me.

Oh thank gosh I don't live in an area where it's that cold, -35 degrees is the usual lowest during winters and it's not that often it happens here. We just have these weeks with -20 - -25 celsiuses. Those I can manage.

It's soooo gross. It rained here, and it didn't decrease the humidity or heat one bit. Does not compute.

The entire nation must be affected, or at least most of it. This is one of the few reasons I'm glad we live in a rural area. At least it's a few degrees cooler here.

Here too. We have masses of rain clouds piled up over us, but they are just sitting there doing nothing.

You'd think they'd get busy! There was all kinds of lightning flashing on my way home from work, but not a drop of rain.
