As part of the April Fool's Writing Challenge, people could choose to participate in the Fanfic Rewards for when they reached smaller goals toward their major goal. I offered to participate.

For someone who's never written these characters before, you've got them both dead on! You've got Charles' mindset/ideas perfectly, and Eric's anger ...? Brilliant! :-)

Thank you...I'm glad I did the characters justice. I've always loved them in the movie, but I've always found Pyro or Rogue's voice much easier to work with.

I wanted to sign up for the fanfic reward thing, but you know how difficult it is for me to dive in new fandoms, so I figured I'd play it safe. *g*

Really liked the story. Oh, there's so much sexual tension between those two, I'm telling you. *g* They seem to have so much history together, don't ya think?

Yeah, I figured I'd give it a go, especially since the reward stories weren't required to be too long and counted toward your word goal. Hee.

Glad you liked it. And yeah, they have so much history and there is so much that I think they don't want to let go of, but their differences on how to handle the mutant situation drives a wedge...hence the reason I was terrified to write them at all.

Yay! I'm so glad you like it. And I must confess, when I just saw X-Men as the fave, I did some snooping by going to your profile, which led to your journal and had your fave characters listed for fandoms. Hee. So I decided, since it was a reward fic, to give it a go.

And I share your Harry Potter obsession! Gah, I love that word and surely if I wasn't so busy reading fanfic, I might accomplish things.
