December 11, Sunday: At the shrine, 4:32 pm
Fire reading wasn't really Arashi's thing, of all her skills that her mother pushed on this was her least favorite. Anything related to the skills of divination Arashi disfavored. Pyromancy wasn't a common way of divination in Japan, originating from Greek society and later adapted by the Chinese but it was a practice Arashi learned.
Just because she didn't like it did not mean Arashi had a hard time with it. Arashi frowned as she interpreted the answers to her questions given to her by the flames. This wasn't good she would have to act.
"What's wrong?" asked the smug voice of her older brother from behind her. He stood leaned up against on of the walls with his long arms crossed across his chest.
"Nothing you would understand but a girl from my school, she must pay a hard price for her sins." Arashi smirked as she stood up and brushed off her hakama.
Kiyoshi just continued to look at her not amused. "Hn." was his simple response before he turned back around to stare at the opposite wall. "And you are basing this off of a fire?"
Arashi turned not surprised in her brothers lack of skill in this department. He had no supernatural ability to speak of and doubted her own. "No I am not basing it off of a fire, it was my decision in the first place the fire just agreed with me. If I don't take matters in my own hands things will only worsen."
"What's your plan than?" Kiyoshi now sounded slightly intrested, wondering only what this poor girl did to anger his little sister.
"Easy I will summon and then attach a Tsukimono to her soul. The spirit will cause her misfortune and many disasters." Kiyoshi just looked away and gave a skeptical noise. Arashi didn't pay him heed her face was turned to the open shoji door.
She looked to one of the many statues that littered the ground of her shrine of the proud fox spirit. The Izuna to be more exact it was a type of fox spirit that was her families familiar and had been for many generations. The fox was better known as a pipe fox, a small weasel like fox known for its wisdom and ability to seek out supernatural power and tell its master.
Sadly Arashi's abilities hadn't let her see one yet but maybe if it took form as her Tsukimono she would have her chance. She had to prepare for the possession ritual and she quickly bent down and grabbed the girls picture from the floor. The girl would learn about spreading horrible rumors about people.
