Lover Mine

I got JR Ward's Lover Mine the other day (Friday?) and finished it just now. Well. Some good stuff in there (Lash's storyline was horrifying-fascinating) but ultimately I found it a bit of a let-down. I've never been a big mega-fan of John Matthew's or Xhex's, so I suppose I'm not surprised this book ranks right up there with the likes of Dark

Sorry it was a let down for you. I really liked it though not as much as others. I'm looking forward to the Mhurder portion in the future.

I don't remember that Manny thing. But I suspect it was a Brother like friend thing cause they wouldn't do the incest thing here.

What did you think of the guy in the castle and the Darius memories?

Eh, like I said, it's a Dark Lover/Lover Eternal situation for me, where I won't necessarily read it over and over again like I did Lover Awakened (maaaan did I read that one...)

Manny thing: In V's book when Rhage and Butch smuggled him out. I think. I remember distinctly that either Rhage or V thought "Brother" when he crossed their path. Most probably V.

The guy in the castle... you mean the butler? Heh, that's probably a doggen and he's pissed that Murhder's letting humans into his home haha. As for the Darius memories, they were great I think. It's a nice way to explain why John would feel closest to Tohr out of all the Brothers. Darius/John took care of Tohr in the past, and Tohr took care of John when he entered the vampire world. A very nice full circle. Now it looks like they'll be treating each other as equals. I liked.

I meant the whole thing with Mhurder but whatever. I liked the whole Mhurder thing. I loved his involvement with couple. Don't really know why.
